Unity North Tampa’s Story

We are a spiritual home for all who seek peace. We joyfully create peace in our heart, our minds and our world by living Unity truth.
Our Founding Minister
Rev. Virginia Walsh, a bilingual Unity minister, teacher, seminar leader, guest speaker, and spiritual counselor, is the Founding Minister of Unity North Tampa.
Before the founding of Unity North Tampa in 2007, Rev. Virginia served as the minister of Unity in Kissimmee, FL, and the Unity Spanish Speaking Ministry in Tampa. She also volunteered with the Unity Center in San Jose, Costa Rica, and with humanitarian projects in Honduras and Argentina.
Rev. Virginia Walsh retired from full-time ministry on June 13, 2021.

Minister of Record
Rev. Marcia McCartney
Rev. Marcia McCartney is passionate about helping people rediscover their place in Divine Oneness. For over 30 years, she has served as a spiritual midwife for those seeking a deeper, more expansive connection with the Infinite Creative Spirit within.

As a Unity Minister, she has encouraged the practice of Spiritual Truth as taught by the world’s great mystical traditions. She has served as senior minister at Unity churches in Chicago, Gainesville, and Citrus County, Florida.

A recovering addict of 46 years, Marcia walks the path of surrender, acceptance, and recovery. Her journey also includes 30 years as a Delta Airlines flight attendant, retiring in 1999, and becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher (1992) and Ordained Unity Minister (1999).
