Unity Effective Prayer Methods

A 5-week Unity Spiritual Education and Enrichment Class on Unity’s teachings for effective, affirmative prayer. Learn the why and how of prayer, how to create your own affirmations, and how to make prayer a part of daily life, to transform your life experience. Explore the role of faith in prayer and how to apply the Truth principles present in the Unity prayer process. Practice Centering Prayer as a way to enter The Silence.
 
Rev. Prentiss John Davis was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he was introduced to Unity in 1962. His education includes graduations from Wayne County Community College, University of Wisconsin, Unity Urban Ministerial School, and Unity Institute. He was Licensed and Ordained in 2004 and served as the Minster of St.  Petersburg’s Unity Temple of Truth Church for 7½ years. Rev. Prentiss has also served as a Hospice Chaplain has been active in community events, bringing together people of different faiths and cultures to promote peace and harmony.
 
Please feel free to attend even if you have not previously attended a class.
 
The suggested offering is $10 per class. Any offering you are able to give for more or less than the suggested amount is gratefully received in support of Rev. Prentiss and Unity North Tampa.

AA Group
This Alcoholics Anonymous group meets 6:30 - 7:30 pm in Suite 104. The Primary Purpose Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will be meeting to study the 12 step recovery program as outlined in the basic book of Alcoholics Anonymous. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend who are looking for a better understanding of alcoholism and the AA recovery program. For more information, contact the church or email the AA group.
